ANUG is short for Annual Nebraska Ultralight Gathering

ANUG was designed and started in summer of 2000 with the cooperation of David City officials and a hand full local ultralight club members for the purpose of introducing the public to the sport of ultralight flying and give them a chance to see the planes up close and in action. Several ultralightclubes, general aviation pilots and enthusiasts gather together to share their love for the sport. Visitors have the opportunity to take a demo lesson for a small fee this provides the opportunity for almost anyone to experience the joy of flying.

ANUG fully supports all types of flying from general aviation to powered parrachuts, including remote control aircraft.
